MeetThe Team

Transparency at TBB is not a talking point—it is embedded into how we operate. We have built internal systems designed to give sellers clarity from the very beginning, including a sellability scoring framework that evaluates a business objectively and identifies value drivers, as well as an instant fee calculator that shows exactly what our compensation will be, calculated the same way for every client. Our fees are intentionally structured below industry norms to ensure alignment with a single objective: maximizing our clients’ walkaway proceeds.

One of the defining strengths of Titan Business Brokers is our ability to successfully execute transactions involving complex, privately held businesses. We regularly represent companies with cash-flow components, imperfect financial records, or non-traditional structures—situations that require manual due diligence, thoughtful presentation, and experienced negotiation. This hands-on approach, combined with disciplined execution, allows us to achieve strong close rates and efficient timelines in the Main Street and lower middle market.

Senior Business Advisor

Abdul Ahad is a Senior Business Advisor with over three years of experience selling businesses across a wide range of industries, including laundromats, entertainment and recreation, landscaping, liquor stores, gas stations, and convenience stores. He brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to valuation, buyer management, and negotiation, and represents clients with the professionalism and composure that keep complex transactions on track to close.

Founder & Principal Broker

Hassan founded Titan Business Brokers after going through the sale of his own family’s portfolio of businesses in 2022. Working with brokers to sell those businesses exposed everything wrong with the industry — high representation fees, no real workflow, a single overworked person juggling the entire deal, and little effort to maximize what the seller actually walked away with. He built TBB to be the firm he wished he’d hired: disciplined deal management, a full team behind every transaction, and a relentless focus on your net proceeds. With tens of millions of dollars in closed transactions and deep command of the $1M–$15M revenue market, Hassan sets the standard every TBB deal is held to.

What Owners Say Once the Deal Is Done

The real measure of a business broker isn't what they promise up front. It's what owners say once the money is in the bank and the keys have changed hands.

I spent two years trying to sell my laundromat on my own. Titan Business Brokers had a serious, qualified buyer in front of me within weeks. My employees had no idea the business was for sale until I told them on closing day.

Business Owner Fairfield County, CT

Three brokers told me what my HVAC company was worth. Titan Business Brokers was the only one who could show me how they got there — real EBITDA multiples, real comparable sales. It sold above asking.

HVAC Business Owner Massachusetts

They kept the sale of my restaurant completely confidential and still brought me multiple qualified offers. One point of contact the whole way, and a team clearly working behind him. We closed without a single hiccup.

A business broker manages every stage of selling a business — setting a realistic market value, marketing it confidentially, qualifying buyers, negotiating offers, and coordinating the closing. You get an experienced advisor running the transaction while you stay focused on the business.

It depends on factors like Seller Discretionary Earnings (SDE) or EBITDA, industry demand, recent comparable sales, customer concentration, lease terms, growth potential, and how transferable the business is. We provide free, data-backed business valuations built on real market evidence — not online calculators.

Every transaction is different, but most businesses we represent receive an offer within 90 days and close within three to six months. Timing depends on accurate pricing, well-prepared financials, buyer demand, financing, and how smoothly due diligence goes.

Nothing upfront. We invest in marketing and buyer qualification, and our fee is paid only when your business closes. In most cases our commission ranges between 6.95% and 8.5% of the final sale price. If your business doesn't sell, you don't pay us.

Buyers sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement before receiving any identifying information about your business. Your employees, customers, suppliers, and competitors aren't told the business is for sale, so you keep operating without disruption.

It's an honest read on how qualified buyers will likely view your business. We assess financial records, operational structure, customer concentration, transferability, and market demand, then flag both the strengths that raise value and the areas that could hold a sale back.

For most owners, yes. A good broker helps you reach more qualified buyers, price correctly, hold confidentiality, negotiate stronger terms, and manage the deal through closing — often avoiding costly mistakes and improving the odds of a successful sale.

Confidentiality is enforced at every step. We market your business without naming it, release identifying details only to buyers who have qualified and signed a strict NDA, and control the flow of information straight through to closing — so word never gets out before you're ready.

Profitable Main Street and lower-middle-market businesses across CT, MA, NJ, and NY — laundromats, liquor stores, HVAC companies, restaurants, gas stations, car washes, manufacturers, and many other privately owned businesses with proven cash flow.

Then you owe us nothing. There are no upfront fees — we're paid only when your business closes, which means our incentive is fully aligned with getting your deal done at the right price.

We're business brokers, not attorneys, so we don't provide legal advice or prepare legal documents. We do work closely with your attorney, accountant, lender, and the buyer's advisors to keep the transaction organized and moving toward closing.

Business owners throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. Primary areas include Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven, Middlesex, and Litchfield Counties in CT; Greater Boston, Worcester, and Springfield in MA; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, and Monmouth Counties in NJ; and the Westchester, Hudson Valley, Long Island, and New York City metro markets in NY, plus many surrounding communities.

70–80% of Businesses Listed for Sale Never Sell. It's Almost Always the Same Three Reasons.

Priced from what the owner needs rather than what the market will support. Financials that raise questions under buyer scrutiny because they were never packaged correctly. And a sale that leaked to an employee, a competitor, or a supplier before the right buyers ever saw it.

Most sales don’t fail for lack of buyers. They fail because the business was never priced, packaged, or protected correctly. Our entire process is built to prevent those three failures before they cost you a deal.

We represent Main Street and lower-middle-market owners across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York — businesses with real cash flow, loyal customers, and years of operating history. If you’ve been quietly wondering, “what would it actually take to sell my business the right way?” — that’s the conversation we’re built for.

See what a fully managed sale looks like for your business.

A broker isn't measured by finding a buyer. The value is in reaching every buyer, protecting your price and your privacy, working each inquiry to the end, and getting the transaction across the finish line — none of which happens by accident when you go it alone.
